With over three thousand islands, South Korea has many ferry services which travel both domestically and to other nearby countries including China and Japan. Please be aware that this page is a summary of the main ferry terminals and links to relevant operators and information. While we’ve tried to include links to English websites where possible, many of the ferry websites are only in Korean. For more comprehensive information in English see the government’s VisitKorea page.
Remember that you can also use Korea’s English helpline by dialling 1330 free, 24 hours a day if you need assistance.
Incheon
Incheon has three ferry terminals — two international and one domestic. These terminals serve passengers travelling to and from China, Jeju Island as well as other smaller domestic islands.
- Incheon Port International Passenger Terminal 1 (Yeonan Pier) – International services to China
- Incheon Port International Passenger Terminal 2 – International services to China
- Incheon Port Coast Passenger Terminal (Yeonan Pier Passenger Terminal) – Domestic

The domestic terminal operates ferries to Jeju Island and Tongyong.
Jeju-do (Jeju Island)
Catching a ferry can be a relaxing way to travel to the beautiful Jeju Island at the bottom of Korea. There three main ferry terminals on the island:

Other ferries
Another international route is the ferry from Donghae to Russia which travels to Vladivostok and takes 24 hours.
Some other popular ferry destinations are:
Oedo Island (Korean) – A very popular private island next to Geoje with beautiful gardens that offers day tours.
Ulleungdo – This beautiful island is also a popular tourist destination that can be reached from Pohang or Donghae. If you’re look to travel to Dokdo, it can only be reached from Ulleungdo. See this website for more information on tours.

Hi
Is there any ferry that departs from jeju island to jangheung?
Thanks
Sam
Hi Sam. Yes the JH Ferry listed above goes between Jeju and Jangheung. It’s a great high speed service but note that it doesn’t leave from Jeju Ferry terminal but Seongsanpo on the west of the island.
I want to know is there any ferry depart from Jeju to Busan on January 29, 2017?
As far as I could retrieve, ferries between Busan and Jeju don’t depart on Sundays. The only depart from Monday to Saturday (in both directions).

Now I am trying to find ferry Schedules for Daecheon port , which seems impossible, Do you want Tourist to vist this country or not?
hi is there an ferry to Nohwa-Do island? Feery name or shiping company name?
I recommend you contact Jeollanam Province’s tourism centre. https://www.namdokorea.com/tour_eng/index.do
Otherwise information on ferries to smaller islands such as these isn’t too accessible online and finding info on blog posts from people who recently have taken trips to the island can be most useful.
